Sketch #2 – Easy Cards Using Sketches

This week’s sketch is so versatile meaning it can be made either portrait or landscape which opens up oodles of possibilities. Tonight, I made the portrait version using the Love Notes Mix & Match DSP and the Mixed Up Patterns DSP.

My Gorgeous Grape was feeling unloved so I brought out my old favorite for tonight. The card base is 11″ x 4-1/4″. Place the 11″ side along the top of your score board and score at 4-1/4″ and 9-3/4″. Fold in on the score lines so it resembles a gate fold of sorts.

Next, I layered Gorgeous Grape cardstock that measured 4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ and 4-1/8″ x 1-1/8″ onto the Balmy Blue. I then added a 4″ x 4″ layer of Mixed up Patterns DSP and the same with the smaller strip of DSP. I added another layer of Gorgeous Grape to the inside of the card so it was really feeling loved! Stamped my sentiments and the card was done! Easy – Peasy!! You can print out or save a pdf copy of Card Sketch #2 by clicking on the button below.

Here are some other fun samples I made using this template. Let me know which is your favorite!
