Card Sketch #7 – Easy-Peasy!

I was having an inspiration block and while browsing Pinterest, I came across a card made by Michelle in Australia. I thought – this would make a great card sketch!! So Card sketch #7 was born.

One reason I love this sketch is it only uses a few layers.

Card base: 4-1/4 x 11; scored at 5-1/2

3-3/16 x 4-1/8 Banner (#8 Party Banners counting from the largest)

3″ Circle (largest Stylish Shapes)

2-1/2 Circle (2nd largest Stylish Shapes)

Inside: 5-1/4 x 4 white

See what I mean about just a few supplies? I have a free pdf with all the measurements below so you can add it to your sketch collection.

Here’s the card I made – a pretty close CASE of Michelle’s card. I used Coastal Cabana as the card base and the circle, Petal Pink for the banner and Basic White for the circle and inside. That’s it!!

One of the fun things about this card is I used the Eyelet Blooms Die to texturize the front of the card. This die was April 2026 Product of the Month and is no longer available. I just now opened it (in June, ha ha) and wheee – I love how it looks!!

I also colored using the Watercolor Pencils with a blender pen. Quick and Easy!!

You can watch my YouTube video to see how this card is made.

Here is a list of the supplies I used. This template is definitely one I will be using over and over. Plus, the Party Banners Dies and Stylish Shapes Dies are forever going to live in my collection. I use them all the time!!
