Cactus Cuties

Today I made a quick and easy card using Cactus Cuties stamp set from the upcoming January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. Click on the picture below to see how easy this card is using Stamps, Ink and Paper.  I used Evening Evergreen card stock and two pieces of Basic White cardstock, one for the inside and one for the outside. For inks, I used Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate. I masked off about one inch from bottom and used a Blending Brush and lightly sponge on some Smoky Slate. Don’t go too heavy or it will bleed through the cactus pots.

The stepped-up version uses all the same supplies plus some of the In Good Taste designer series paper and an extra layer of Calypso Coral card stock. I fussy cut all of the images and popped them up with Stampin Dimensionals to give it some realistic dimension.
