This Saturday, February 7, 2026 is my in-person card class. I love to show off the cards ahead of time because the class attendees get a sneak peek of how the cards will go together. Anyone who places a qualifying order of $40 or more in my online store between 2/5/26 – 2/8/26 noontime, will receive this class for free. Qualifying order before tax/shipping and after any rewards or coupons are applied.

My first card had a really different color combination – Darling Duckling, Calypso Coral, Fresh Fresia and Old Olive. Where did I get that combo? The Lovely & Beautiful DSP, of course!! On the back of every designer series paper pack, you will find all the colors that are in the paper – makes color combos very easy!

I used the Lovely & Beautiful bundle for this card. I started with a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Darling Duckling cardstock as the card base. Next, is a 3 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Calypso Coral Two-Toned cardstock scored and folded at 5 1/2″. I layered a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock that was 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Finally, I added a 3″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Lovely & Beautiful DSP.
I stamped the flower and leaves on a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Basic Gray ink. Using blending brushes to add color made the finished flower and leaves so soft and feminine – gorgeous!! After die-cutting, I popped them up with dimensionals and added the greeting.
My second card is a great example of how to use up strips of DSP.

The card base is Real Red cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″. I layered four strips of Made with Love DSP cut 4″ x 7/8″ onto a piece of Real Red Two-Toned cardstock. By using the darker side, it gives the illusion that I layered the strips directly onto the card base but the extra piece makes adding the strips so much easier!! My final strip was Basic White cut 4″ x 7/8″ stamped with Reason to Celebrate in Real Red ink. I LOVE that stamp set with so many bold sayings – it’s a keeper!!! As a final touch, I added a red heart punch from the Bee Builder punch.
My final card was inspired by Karen Hadler who is a demo in Australia. She showed this concept at a recent class that I attended virtually. It’s a wonderful guy card!

The base is made from Basic White Thick cardstock cut 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″. I used a piece of Night of Navy Two Tone cardstock that measures 5 1/4″ x 4″, a piece of Country Woods DSP 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″, and a layer of Basic White measuring 3 3/4″ x 5″.
I die cut the white layer using the stunning die that cuts and embosses the leaves at the same time. Save the white leaves for another project. I also die cut Night of Navy using the same leaves – I chose the lighter side of the navy cardstock but you can decide which one you like better. The die cut opening will be covered up – great way to save paper!
Stamp the texture stamp in Misty Moonlight ink in full strength and second generation which gives you a beautiful textured layer. Carefully add adhesive to the back and layer the Country Woods DSP on the back. Adhere that layer over the Night of Navy and attach to the card base. Adhere the blue leaves offset to the die cut window. Loop some Linen Thread and add the sentiment. GREAT MASCULINE CARD!!
